RBBS Stands for Russian Blue Breed
Support.
RBBS started in 2001 and has been serving
the Pedigreed Russian Blue since. We are not a rescue
- but rather a network of people, breeders, and websites
that try our best to find new homes for pedigreed Russian
Blues before they are surrendered to a shelter or humane
society. We feel that the adjustment (while still very
hard for any cat) is better going from home to home instead
of home to shelter to home. We serve North America
Only - as our resources are not so great to serve the needs
of Russian Blues globally.
RBBS lists Russian Blues in 3 different
categories:
REHOME is for those verified Pedigreed
Russian Blues needing a new home.
RETIRED is for those retired show Russian Blues that now
deserve a forever home of retirement.
OTHER is for those Russian Blues that we can not verify are
pedigreed - but look "close enough" to be listed.
These cats may not be Russian Blues - and may be in shelters
- but also need a good home.
